Anna-Sophie Mertens established a keen instinct for music and events management from a very early age. Aged 15, Anna-Sophie began to build a managerial foundation, working at independent label and music publisher Rüssl Musikverlag GmbH and touring Germany on the “Only Otto Tour,” as a personal assistant to the artist. This inspirational experience proved to be defining, solidifying her passion for her chosen career.

Anna-Sophie spent her gap year accruing more valuable experience at Oysterbay, Rialto Film, edel media & entertainment and people magazine BUNTE.

Since May of 2006 has worked with Marek Lieberberg Konzertagentur GmbH & Co. KG on the festivals Rock am Ring/Rock im Park and Live Earth Germany.

In 2008 Anna-Sophie seized the opportunity to participate in the Liverpool Capital of Culture festivities, working on the Liverpool Capital of Culture opening event and the newly established Liverpool Sound City! music festival; In 2009 she continued to work on festivals like Download (UK) and legendary Montreux Jazz Festival.

Recently, Anna-Sophie completed her degree in BA (Hons) Music, Theatre and Entertainment Management at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She continues to pursue numerous managerial projects, focused on artist development, concert promotion, touring, and event planning.
